04 ~ On the Other Side of the Field [Video/Action]

[Today, people might notice something different about Zuko. As soon as she wakes up, she notices there's something not right. This isn't her room, and these clothes too big for her. What in the world is going on? And wings? And journals? And what?

The video feed will start and those watching will notice that Zuko has longer hair and a distinctly more feminine face and voice.]

Would someone mind telling me what's going on here? Where am I?

[Yes, Zuko is now a girl. And doesn't even remember ever being a guy. As far as she knows, she just got here.

Eventually, she'll wander out of her room and start looking around the house. Wearing these clothes that just don't fit her at all. Needless to say, she'll need to make a trip to town to get something a bit more appropriate. So she can be find wandering around the village and eventually at the clothing shop.]

[Asami is just leaving the kitchen when she stumbles across this new and improved young Firelord Zuko. The familiar smile she raises in greeting falls quickly and her eyes widen as she actually gets a good look at her housemate.]

...Zuko? What happened?!

[Immediately she worries that another shift is happening; she's still trying to recoup from the last one.]

[When she comes into the kitchen and hears her name, she's glad to hear that someone here recognizes her for who she is.]

I woke up here and my clothes are too big!

[She emphasizes this by holding out her arms to show what she means. But what a minute.]

Who are you?

I.... I see that...Do you, uh....feel okay?

[Even his voice was feminine.. She did her best not to stare, and answered his question easily..]

I'm Asami... ? One of your friends.

[ladyhotman]

I feel fine.

[She folds her arms with a frown, scrutinizing Asami for a moment.]

Really? But I've never met you before.

[Yeah, she doesn't remember anything from Luceti.]

Oooookay.

[Well... That's sort of terrible, but at least its not as strange as everyone changing all at once. There's a quiet panic that he wont turn back, but... she can't really do much about it...]

We've met, but under different... circumstances. We're housemates, too. What's the last thing you remember?

[HOW are you supposed to explain to someone that they're supposed to be a guy?!]

I was talking with my mother, and then I woke up here.

[She's from the same point that guy Zuko is from, but from her point of view... she's always been a she. Good luck with that Asami.]

[Now she's really confused. She's still not on par with everyone else's pull points, though that's what she now assumes he--she?-- is talking about. ....Which means this Zuko must believe she's just gotten here. ...maybe.]

So you don't know where you are at all? And... you're a girl.

Of course I'm a girl.

[Good powers of observation there Asami.

I'm in Luceti right? That's what Eley told me.

And that doesn't...weird you out, or anything?

[....she's so confused. She shakes her head, trying to convince herself that she needs to leave it be.]

Yes, you're in Luceti now.

[Weird. Weird. Weird. Weird]

So um... do you want me to see if I've got anything you can wear? Or...maybe we could go shopping?

Why should it? Does being a girl weird you out?

[Though at the mention of shopping she looks thoughtful.]

Sure. It would be nice to have some clothes that actually fit.

[She raises a slender brow, but shakes her head and motions for the other girl to follow her to her room where she looks to see if she's got something for Zuko to wear. Eventually, she's able to find at least one outfit that she thinks might work until they find a proper store and offers it to the firebender.]

Here... Try that, and once you're changed, we can head out, okay?

[You would probably be pretty upset too Asami if you came here and everyone thought you were supposed to be something you were not. Like a man.

But when Asami brings her an outfit, she looks it over. It's not exactly her style, but it's something to wear at least.]

[And with that she goes to change, eventually returning after having put the other clothes back in her room.]

No problem...

[And with that, she watches Zuko leave and leans back against her closet door to wait. When he-- she-- comes back, she lets her eyes wash over the outfit and actually grins a little, though it's still awkward...]

Not bad. You definitely still look good in red, at least...

[She shakes her head and pushes off from the door to leave, pulling her bag over her shoulder.]

You ready?

[ladyhotman]

[The compliment draws a little smile, and she tries not to think about the "still" part.]

[At the question she then nods and will be following Asami out.]

[She'll lead him to one of the clothing shops she's found in the village, holding the door open when they get there.]


Alright, where do you want to start?

[This is..really weird.]

[She pauses to consider this a moment, but it doesn't take long.]

Something to wear... under my clothes might be a good start.

[Cause she's got boobs now remember?]

[Blink. Blink.

She hadn't even thought about that, and the thought of Zuko having to worry about new assets was... sort of really embarrassing.]

Oh. Right. Well...

[She takes a deep breath, then leads him--HER-- over to the underwear section of the shop, pausing again as she reaches a rack of bras. She's actually really good at shopping for this kind of thing, but she's also well aware of her own requirements.

Zuko is an entirely different case.]

So...Any idea what size you are?

[Dear. Agni.]

[And she follows. Though when they get to the underwear section, Zuko only looks around in confusion.]

Size?

[She then picks up a black lacy brassiere and turns it over in her hands, then turns to Asami while holding it up with a perplexed look.]
